With D’s long half life just continue to take 50K a week if not a small more. I had to take 50K twice a week for a whole year to get my D levels into the proper range. Mine was also real low at first since I don’t get any sun.

I take 30,000 iu a day and I give my kids 5000 iu a day age 4 and 6.
15,000 iu of vitamin D is 15 minutes in the sun only. So it is very safe and excellent for you.

Wow – thanks for the education on this…. On my own, I had increased my “D” and since then I notice such a better difference in myself. My surgeon’s office really was not checking on the “d” levels on the RYN or Lapband patients would you believe that only with D/S patients.
