]]> ambient lighting bamboo problems?
i have a potted bamboo plant which i normally keep in my kitchen near the window. its a north facing window so i dont recieve any direct sunlight, just ambient light. i chose to place my plant on my apartment’s roof to recieve some sunlight for the day…which resulted in all day. the chlorophyll has seemed to “retreat” into the main stem of the plant turning the leaves to a light green and some spots white. have i hurt the plant?
i reckon its the Pleioblastus variety
hmmm it looks to be the Dracaena sanderiana or lucky bamboo9the kind you get at chinese gift shops and such. also found out its not suspose to be in direct sunlight. even thought i just about answered my own question any inputs?

I have a load of down lights fitted throughout my home and no doubt they are costing me a fortune to have on. i know there is an equivalent LED light that saves alot of money but I can only find them in white – does ayone know where i can buy these lights in different colours?
I have different coloured LED lights in my garden but the connection is different. Its just an thought to make one or more areas a bit more ‘ambient’ ambient lighting Where can I buy different coloured LED downlights?

      Besides the obvious like HD, Lowes, LL. I am looking for lighter colors like a natural maple or natural bamboo. I’ve seen a couple places online (Flooring Clearance Center and Ambient Bamboo) that have stores in the area, but am not sure about their reputation. I am trying to avoid paying top dollar retail, but would like a better selection than what I’m seeing at the huge box stores.

        it already has the pony package…leather…ambient lighting….shaker 500…

        anything i can do to “girl it up?”

          I just read on Yahoo Answers where someone maintained that the argument that the the observation that stars do not appear in the photos taken by Apollo crews shows that the moon landings were faked is invalid in that the ambient light from the sun and earth would have drowned out the faint light of distant stars, rendering them invisible for the purpose of photography. But, I have noticed that there is at least one photo from the moon landings that does show globes of light that, for all I know, resemble stars. Does this latter observation, then, undercut the above argument that seeks to debunk claims of a conspiracy theory?

          I’ve also read that one of the Apollo photos captured a rock with a letter from our alphabet inscribed in it? Do you believe in the authenticity of this photo? If so, do you reckon the this apparent letter was just an outgrowth of some natural process?
