For those amateurs who like to ask trick photographic questions ?

Suppose I were to do a photo shoot of a model and her dog in the evening around sunset.(Note I am not including the sunset itself, just the ambient light from it ) I have all my light gelled with orange filters and in softbox’es. What type of film am I using? What color will the sunset light render in the final image? And ,Why would I want this sort of look for the image ?

I don’t know what you are using but I would suggest (am I am pure amateur)
1) Kodak Professional Ultra Color 400 speed film (again, amateur)
2) The sunset light would render a warmer reddish orange, maybe golden red light
3) Honestly I don’t know why you would want this sort of look. Maybe you like the warm tones. Maybe you want the more fascinating shadows (although most shadows would be filled by your lightboxes). I suspect the warm tones would bring out the skin tones better, but wouldn’t that wash out some of the contrasts of the models features.
